Hi guys!!!
Here you are an amazing tool for you to put in practice your English and do your best in terms of oral and written skills. Feel free to participate and encourage your classmates to do so.
From now on, your are the main author of this blog. Take advantage of it!!!
The video I´ve just downloaded is called "onwards". I´d like you to comment on it and introduce yourself in this new blog!!!
Let´s start now guys!!!
Hi!
ResponderEliminarIt´s the first time I write in a blog, do you know? But I´m sure it won´t be the last one.
Tonight we have our communitary prayer. I send you the lirycs of the songs. The first song will be listened (you can find it easily on the youtube). The second one will be sung (the music is similar to "bendice alma mía al Señor").
Here you are. And have a nice afternoon.
PS. Thank you very much, Ascen, for your work.
1) I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell in dark and sin, my hand will save. I, who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright. Who will bear my light to them? Whom shall I send?
Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night. I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart.
I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will send the poor and lame. I will set a feast for them. My hand will save. Finest bread I will provide, 'til their hearts be satisfied. I will give my life to them. Whom shall I send?
2) Bless the Lord, my soul, and bless God’s holy name. Bless the Lord, my soul, who leads me into life.
Thank you Alberto for your comment. Did you, all finally go to your village??? How was it?? What about the video "onwards", any suggestions about it???
ResponderEliminarAt the end of my day I will pray with the lyrics of the song you sent me, Thanks a lot. Take care and BFN!!!
Hi to everybody!
ResponderEliminarFirst of all, sorry for my delay answering here. I watched the video some days ago and, admittedly, I expected to enjoy more with a really spectacular ending (like a final tricky situation to think more about). However, after all I think the main impressive message is the time DURING the running: how important is to work out a good way, to not give up our horizons. I'd summarize the video with these words: "I'ts better "how" than "what"". I finish with a good sentence from the Trappists Monks we visited this morning in the "Dueñas" monastery: "The secret of our strength is to be able to wait" (for each process). Let's go ahead, then!
